Measuring Technology
On both internal and external projects, machtTechnik AG takes advantage of its expertise in conception, construction and the future operation of specific test and qualification facilities.
We have a range of responsibilities from static and dynamic pull-out and bending tests, shock testing, life cycle tests under variable environmental conditions, to single component tests in cryogenic environment.

Development of alternative high efficiency precision drives for alignment of solar modules
Existing systems for alignment of parabolic trough mirrors and photovoltaic collectors show high potential for optimization in the area of the power train. For this reason, the machtTechnik AG is currently working on processing innovative power trains with high-precision solar module performance for specific sun tracking and thus more effective use of energy.
Regarding acquisition costs, maintenance intervals, system stability and power density these power trains are in a leading position compared to those currently in use.
Our collaboration with leading gear and motor manufacturers make it possible for us to offer you individual all-in solutions to suit with your particular needs. As our customer, you will benefit from our research results in the field of lightweight construction and development of receiver tubes and also from testing and analysis in wind tunnels.

Sensor development
Our sensor developments range from measurement components to whole measurement- and adjustment-control systems.  
One example of use: they are also especially designed for light-weight optimized buildings, such as the Beijing National Aquatics Center, China. Built with a steel space frame, it has 100,000 m² of high-tech ETFE panels that are only 0.2 mm in total thickness. machtTechnik AG is responsible for the innovative operating control and has developed sensors which measure the humidity, temperature and correspondent pressure data inside the panels.

Wind and water tunnel operations
machtTechnik AG can handle all tasks that are related to wind and water tunnel tests: from the establishment of test plans, model construction and manufacturing to the testing itself and the accompanying data acquisition and evaluation. Our clients are in the field of aero- and astronautic, solar thermal and photovoltaic energy.
