Short Courses
We offer intensive courses which deal with fluidic analysis and optimization of solar thermal energy installations (photovoltaic, parabolic trough collectors or heliostats).
With our workshops we aim to establish and explain theoretical fluidic basics of designing, constructing, testing and optimizing solar energy installations. In a second step, we take the acquired knowledge and apply it to actual wind tunnel testing.
We want to improve the understanding of the construction and optimization of renewable energy installations, a topic rapidly growing in importance. The practical benefit for participants lies specially in the fact that the acquired knowledge is easily transferable to own projects and works.
Target Groups
Our Short Courses primarily address to companies working in the field of renewable energies, especially with solar thermal installations. But other interested groups are just as welcome, like for example insurance and reinsurance providers. The interest in renewable energies and some basic technical understanding are the most important pre-conditions for participating.
Our approach is to offer learning in small groups with a maximum of six people, so we can respond to individual questions, needs and interests of the group.
Topics
- Introduction to Fluid Dynamics and Similitude Theory
